Mathematics Awareness Month
This month is Mathematics Awareness Month -- it occurs every year in April, and has been running since 1986. According to their website, it's all about increasing "public understanding of and appreciation for mathematics."

Hey, what about a month dedicated to appreciating mathematicians as opposed to just mathematics? We're a good lot of folks, and some are very good musicians to boot.
Now there's a brilliant idea. A couple days have already passed, but I'm thinking a mathematician a day for the rest of April might just work.
Suggestions?
